Marie I. Eberhardt, 93

Marie I. Eberhardt went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, at Lasata Health Care in Cedarburg. She was born June 21, 1920, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Fred and Kate (nee Busch) Klauser. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1937. Marie married Milton F. Eberhardt on Oct. 2, 1940. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2007.

Marie is remembered as one who had a great love for her family, was a perfectionist, a great cook and seamstress, and enjoyed playing cards. She loved the family lakeside home in Wild Rose. She was known by her grandchildren and the Lasata staff as one who loved to joke around. In addition to raising a family, Marie worked at Alstonís in Cedarburg and retired from Power Products in Grafton.

She is survived by her children, Janice (Ronald) Ferris of Richmond, Texas, David (Mary) of Grafton and Ronald (Betsy) of Greensboro, N.C. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two brothers-in-law and friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to both Lasata Care staff and the Heartland Hospice staff for the care given to Marie.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton, with the Rev. Scott Kruse officiating. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from noon to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery immediately following the service.

Memorials may be made to the new pew Bible fund at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
