Clayton M. Leque,
M. Leque of Grafton passed away into Godís hands at Heritage Nursing
Home in Port Washington on April 2, 2013, at the age of 89.
Clayton was born on Oct. 14, 1923, in Etrick. Clayton graduated from
Galesville in the class of 1940. Clayton served 20 years in the U.S.
Navy during World War II, the Korean War and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Clayton worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Grafton.
Clayton was a member of the Grafton American Legion post and Grafton
Senior Center. He also volunteered at Meals on Wheels for many years.
Clayton is survived by his wife, Annie (Nee Kubicki) of Grafton;
children, Debbie (Bruce) Williams of Grafton, Sandra Barry of Grafton,
Debra (Shawn) Westmorland of San Antonio, Texas; and Richard of
Naperville, Ill. Clayton is further survived by eight grandchildren, 11
great-grandchildren, and many friends. Clayton was preceded in death by
his parents; sons, Donald and Steven; and one sister, Ann. A memorial
service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton on Saturday,
April 13, 2013, at 1 p.m. Family will receive friends at the church from
noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials of
