Kathleen H. Wagner,
H. Wagner (nee Boden), 91, of Mayville, formerly of Hartford, passed
away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Mayville Nursing Home
and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Kathleen was born April 4, 1922, in the town of West Bend. Her parents
were Peter and Cora (nee Peters) Boden. She was united in marriage to
Fred R. Wagner on July 25, 1945, at St. Mathias Church, in the town of
Kathleen retired from Broan-Nutone, where she was the first woman group
leader in the shop. She was also a member of the Fohl Martin American
Legion Auxiliary-unit 483 Allenton, and the Women of the Moose — West
Bend Chapter 732. Kathleen was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She will
be remembered for all the crochet work and crafts.
Kathleen is survived by her children Norbert (Joan Beck) Wagner of
Kentucky, Charles (Patricia) Wagner of Kewaskum, Roger Wagner of
Hartford, and Chris (Jeffrey) Thomson of Hartford; grandchildren Angela
Stephen (Sara) Wagner, Bridget Buchel, Kelly Wagner, Tammy (David) Gloyd,
Amiee (Jim) Stommel, Daniel (Theresa Lugo) Wagner, Rachel, Danielle,
Nicole and Andrea Thomson; 16 greatgrandchildren; sister of Gertrude
Disler, Audrey Rosbeck, Raymond (Marcella) Boden, and Pat (Bill) Hart;
and sisterin- law of Lorraine and Ruth Boden. She also is survived by
other relatives and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her
parents, husband Fred, siblings Daniel, Ralph, Leroy Boden, Marilyn
Reinders, infant brother Kenneth, brothers and sister-in-law Pat Boden,
Jacob Disler, Robert Rosbeck, and Alex Reinders.
Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen will be on Thursday, April 11,
2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Chapel (Basilica of Holy Hill, Lower
Chapel, 1525 Carmel Drive, Hubertus) with the Rev. Fred Alexander, OCD
officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday,
April 10, 2013, at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Interment following
Mass, at St. Augustine Cemetery, Richfield. In lieu of flowers,
memorials to the Threshold Foundation of West Bend or to the Basilica of
Holy Hill are appreciated.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at
Mayville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of
Kathleen and to the Heartland Hospice staff for their support during
Kathleen's heavenly journey home and the support given to her family.
