Patricia A. Miller,
Patricia “Pat” A. Miller (nee Garcia) passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the age of 78 years. She was born on Aug. 27, 1934, to Peter and Roseann (nee Riley) Garcia. She married Henry A. Miller, Jr. on Sept. 15, 1951.
Pat dedicated exactly 30 years at the Samaritan Health and Rehabilitation Center as a CNA. Pat was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. She was also a longtime member of Immaculate Conception St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Barton.
Pat was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved and knew her.
Pat is survived by her children Randy (Laura), Sue (John) Volkert, David (Colleen), Michael, Cherry (Steve) Cannavo, and Lisa (Paul) Shanovich; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings Margaret (the late Art) Washa, Lenora (Gerald) Glover, Peter (Ardyce) Garcia, Linda (Mortimor) Branighan, Gregory (Nancy) Garcia, Hector Garcia, Christina Garcia, and John Peter (Lisa) Garcia; brothers-in-law Gerald Sauer and Leslie (Peggy) Miller; sister-in-law Gloria Jean (Norman) Wetz; special friend Helen Mertzig; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Pat is preceded in death by her husband Henry, son Henry (Andrea), sister Carmen Sauer, and best friend Susan Hron.
A memorial service for Pat will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive in West Bend. Gathering will take place at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Interment of cremains will take place at Washington County Memorial Park following services.
