Norma I. Lewin, 91|
I. Lewin, nee Steinke, died on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at her home at
the age of 91 years. She was born on Aug. 11, 1921 in Tigerton to the
late Otto and Emma (nee Lutzwitz) Steinke.
Following her marriage to Lester Lewin of Oct. 7, 1950, in Marion, the
couple settled in the Milwaukee area. In 1969, they moved to West Bend
where they made their home. Lester predeceased June 16, 2003.
For more than 30 years, Norma worked at Briggs and Stratton in
Milwaukee, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two children Cheryll (Terry) DuFour of West Bend and
Wayne (Heide) Milbauer of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; six grandchildren Lori
Bjorkman, Lisa Piper, Lance (Sue) Thorgerson, Roy (Suzie) Milbauer,
Kelly (Jennifer) Milbauer and Andrea (John) Welhouse; 14
great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her
husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Frances
Zeinert and Leona Retzlaff and one brother Leon Steinke.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God
Church with the Rev. John Garcia officiating. Burial will be in Union
Cemetery in Tigerton. The family will greet relatives and friends at the
church only on Friday from noon-1:45 p.m.
