Lucille F. Dricken,
Lucille F. Dricken, nee Mueller, died peacefully surrounded by family on
Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at her home at the age of 86 years. She was
born on April 14, 1927, in the town of Barton to the late Lorenz and
Amanda (nee Butzlaff) Mueller.
On Nov. 9, 1946, she was united in marriage to Raymond H. Dricken at St.
Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Ray predeceased June 15,
Over the years she stayed home to care for her children. She enjoyed
sewing, knitting, embroidery, and baking bread and pies for her family
and neighbors, loved playing cards with friends and family, going to
‘The Lake,’ visiting with the many grand and great-grandchildren.
Another joy was feeding and watching her many birds and squirrels.
She was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Church choir, the Christian
Women’s Confraternity and the Adrian Neubauer Post #8658 VFW Auxilliary.
Survivors include four children, Rae (David) Schmidt of Kewaskum, Don
(Debbie) of West Bend, Sue Lynn of West Bend and Amy (Steve) Mertzig of
West Bend; 11 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 7
great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Ann
Dricken of West Bend; sister-in-law Rhea Dricken of West Bend;
brother-in-law Gerald (Betty) Dricken of Watertown; other relatives and

son Leo “Bud”, 2 brothers Leo Mueller and Francis “Frankie” (Ruth)

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 2:30
p.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will
follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery (old). The family will greet relatives and
friends at the church only on Wednesday from noon-2:15 p.m.
