A. Pawlicki, 95|
“Kay” A. Pawlicki, nee Blatz, of West Bend died on Sunday, Dec. 8,
2013, at the Health Care Center of Cedar Community at the age of 95 years.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1918, in Milwaukee to the late Thomas and Mary
(nee Staller) Blatz.
On May 30, 1943, Kay was united in marriage to Edward A. Pawlicki in
Milwaukee. Edward predeceased May 16, 2000.
For more than 21 years, Kay worked for the Milwaukee Public School
District. In 1989, she and Edward moved to West Bend where they made their
Over the years, Kay enjoyed spending time with her husband and family.
Together they would take fishing trips, spending time in the Shawano and
Fox Lake areas. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Parish.
Survivors include two children, William (Judy) of Delafield and Patricia
(Jeffrey) Marble of West Bend; three grandchildren, Brian Pawlicki, Kelly
Marble and James (Jaclyn)
Marble; four great-grandchildren, Mason, Peyton, Caitlyn and Madisyn; one
sister, Betty Bandler of West Bend; one sisterin- law, Betty Ann Blatz of
Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kay was preceded in death by two
brothers, Joseph and John Blatz, and one sister, Ann Kaminsky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at noon at
Holy Angels Catholic Church with entombment following at Washington County
Memorial Park. The family will greet relatives and friends during a period
of visitation at the church only on Tuesday from 10-11:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin or the
American Cancer Society are appreciated.
