F. Vetter, 16, of Beechwood, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at
He was born on Feb. 7, 1997, in Kazakhstan, Russia. He was brought home
and welcomed into our family in July 2000. Maxim was a junior at
Kewaskum High School and was active in football, wrestling, baseball and
trapshooting. He will be remembered as one who enjoyed hunting and
fishing, and will be deeply missed by his family and by all who knew
Those Maxim leaves behind to cherish his memory include his parents,
Rick and Brenda Vetter; a brother, Ethan Vetter at home; a sister,
Nicole Vetter (Hans Christianson) of Chapel Hill, N.C.; his maternal
grandmother, Harriet Michaels of the town of Scott; his aunts and
uncles, Charleen Barutha of Kewaskum, Yvonne (David) Wietor of West
Bend, Debbie (Jim) Klug of Cedarburg, Lynn (Jim) Liermann of the town of
Scott, Lori (Jerry) Newhauser of Kewaskum, Roger (Elaine) Vetter, James
Vetter and Terrance (Patricia) Vetter all of Beechwood and Bruce (Pat)
Michaels of the town of Mitchell, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Maxim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruben and
Veila Vetter and his maternal grandfather, Francis Michaels.
Funeral services for Maxim will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20,
2013, at St. John Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in New Fane. The Rev.
Mark Eckert will officiate and cremation will follow the traditional
