Eugenie
Rintelman Kroll, 78
Eugenie “Genie” Rintelman Kroll, 78, adored wife and mother, found
rest and eternal life unexpectedly with her husband Earl and son James at
her side in St. Petersburg, Fla., on Jan. 29, 2013.
She was born on July 6, 1934, to Oscar and Elizabeth (nee Wupper)
Lauterbach. Genie was born and raised in Cedarburg, married to Donald C.
Rintelman in 1952. In 1980, she married Earl Kroll.
Genie loved entertaining her family and friends, and was a remarkable
cook. She was co-owner of the Poplar Place Restaurant in West Bend for
eight years with her son James. She loved the outdoors, tending to her
flower gardens and crafting with Earl, what a team they made. Her love for
the sewing machine made her an accomplished seamstress and she really had
a flair for interior decorating. She loved to travel, and spent winters
in St. Petersburg. Most of all she loved life.
Genie is survived by her loving husband Earl; treasured mother of Donald
B. (Ann Tice), David (Kathy), and James; sisters Dorothy Schroeder and
Christine Klemp; step-children Debbie Kroll Maye and Randy (Terri) Kroll;
sister-in-law Carol (Scott) Jansett and brother-in-law Neil (Karen) Kroll;
grandchildren Katie (Matt) Pipkorn, Brian, Ryan, Nicole, and Bradley
Rintelman; three great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Genie was sadly preceded in death by her loving son Donald B. and dearest
grandson Brian, and brother- in-laws Donald Schroeder and Norbert Klemp.
A private service will follow at a later date.
Genie leaves behind a lifetime of precious and everlasting memories. We
all love you and will never forget you.
