Betty A. Coughlin (nee Kinder), 86, found eternal peace on Wednesday,
Feb. 13, 2013. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Sept. 8, 1926, to
the late Henry and Lelia (nee Bryan).
She married David J. Coughlin on June 8, 1953. She worked as an
administrative assistant at Serigraph for almost 15 years. She was a
member of Daughters of American Revolution and The Women’s Club of West
Bend. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and at St. Joseph’s Hospital
for a number of years.
Some of her fondest memories include going to the family cabin on the
Little Wolf River in Waupaca County and she enjoyed her travels
throughout the world. Betty was an excellent seamstress and touched the
lives of many through her creativity. Above all, she loved spending time
with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by David (Mary),
Steven (Mary), Diane Coughlin (Gary Sumnicht), and Cathy (Mike) Becker;
grandchildren, Josh, Eric, Jason (Carrie), Kristin (Jason) Larson,
Steven, Amy, Katie, Zoe, Haley, Alex; and great-grandson, Peyton. She is
further survived by special cousins from Tennessee, other relatives, and
many dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David; and siblings, Mary Lou
and William.
Private services will be held by the family.
