Jerome G. Kissinger of West Bend, 84, died on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Dec. 8, 1928, in West Bend to the late George H. and Clara (nee Bassill) Kissinger.
For many years, he worked as a mason for Terlinden Masonry and Bauer Masonry. He also helped with the family business, Kissinger Construction.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed bowling in leagues and gardening. Later in life, he was an active participant with the Washington County Senior Center.
For more than 50 years, he was a member of the West Bend Lodge No. 1398 Loyal Order of Moose. He also was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters Court No. 458 for over 60 years.
Survivors include one brother Robert (Frances) of West Bend; one sister-in-law Mary Ann Kissinger of West Bend; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Leroy (Luella), Alfred and Alois (Imelda).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. John Radetski presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery (new). The family will greet relatives and friends at the church only on Thursday from noon-1:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Washington County Senior Center are appreciated.
