Florence Barbara Bonlender, 99, of Kewaskum, formerly of St. Kilian, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1913, in the town of Wayne, the daughter of the late Peter and Susan (Kraemer) Hurth, and on Sept. 10, 1935, she was united in marriage to Reynold Bonlender at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian. Reynold preceded Florence in death on Dec. 6, 1993.
Florence was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian. She was a cook at Fireside Restaurant, a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
Those Florence leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Donna Mae (Mark) Laubenstein of Saukville; five grandchildren, Rhonda (Michael) Hare, Lora (Eric) Radke, Jessica (Corey) Jacak, M. Aaron Laubenstein and Luke Laubenstein; seven great-grandchildren, Julia, Jenna, and Josie Hare, Madeleine and Sydney Radke, Daphne and Dustin Jacak; a sister, Cordell Kern of Kewaskum; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Florence was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary (John) Dietenberger, Marcella (Joseph) Batzler and Dolores (Reinhold) Boegel; a brotherin- law, Ralph Kern; a nephew, Gerald Batzler; and an infant brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Florence will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian. The Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
