Marilyn L. Bales, 69


Marilyn L. Bales (nee Timm), 69, of the Town of Auburn died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at her residence. She was born Sept. 11, 1943 in West Bend to the late William and Bernice (nee Kuester) Timm and married Kenneth H. Bales on Feb. 13, 1965 at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and was known for her kindness, selflessness and spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved nature and animals. Marilyn had a kind word and positive outlook.

She will be missed by all who had the honor to know her.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ken, her two children, Chris (Carrie) of Kewaskum and Jennifer (Daniel Woodie) Bales of Fond du Lac and four grandchildren, Bailey, Braden, Kenlynn and Anyanka. She is further survived by her brothers-in-law Ronald (Bonnie) Bales of West Lafayette, Ind., and Allen (Sue) Bales of West Bend, a sister-in-law Mary Jane Moths of Turlock, Calif., and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Bernice Timm and her parents- in-law Ray and Loretta Bales.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Kewaskum. The visitation was also on Monday, at the funeral home.
