Susan J. Kolb, 59
Susan
J. Kolb, 59, of the town of Wayne, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012,
at her home, with her family at her side. She was born on June 5, 1953,
in Wausau, the daughter of Donald and Elaine (Heidemann) Utecht, and on
Sept. 29, 1973, she was united in marriage to Thomas Kolb at St. Peter’s
United Church of Christ in Kiel.
Susan touched the lives of many people as minister, artist, mentor,

and confidence in the possibilities of the human spirit. Susan joined
Cedar Community as the Retreat and Education manager for Cedar Valley,
while seeking and being granted full ordination as a U.C.C minister. She
most recently served as the director of ministry at Cedar Community,
influencing the lives of residents, leaders and staff. She lived her
life with intention and integrity. Susan knew how to create fun and
reverence. She believed in grace and she lived in grace. Those who love
her will recognize her in the song of the birds and the vision of a
rainbow.

Tom; two daughters, Megan (David) Clark of Wauwatosa and Corrie (Kedrick)
Strutz of West Bend; a granddaughter, Madeline; her parents, Donald and

friends.
