A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton, for Virginia R. Berweger, who passed away on Dec. 26, 2012, at the age of 72. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church prior to the memorial Mass from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Grafton.

Virginia was born on Nov. 29, 1940, in Ashland, the daughter of Thomas Marshall and Ludmilla (nee Beasley) Marshall. She graduated from Ashland High School and later married William "Bill" Berweger on Oct. 17, 1959, in Ashland. Their marriage was blessed with four daughters, Susie, Jody, Barbara Jane and Sandy.

Virginia enjoyed gardening, bowling, dancing, movies and taking dance classes at the Grafton Senior Center, but her true love was spending time with her family.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Susie (Randy) Staron, Jody (Dave) Bodamer, Barbara Jane (Gary) Pfannerstill and Sandy (Ted) Tetzlaff; grandchildren, Laurie (Adam) Szpak, Tom Carson, Joey Staron, David Staron, Kevin Staron, Ashley Pfannerstill, Carley Pfannerstill and Nicholas Tetzlaff; great-grandchildren, Virginia and Henry Szpak; and siblings, Tony (Marie) Marshall, Linda (Wayne) Sellung, Ellerd Marshall, Barbara (Dick) Tody and Roberta (Tony) Basley. She is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ludmilla Marshall; her husband, William Berweger; and siblings, Jack and Ludy.
