C. Paul, 84
Evelyn C. Paul, nee Wolosek, 84, of West Bend died on Tuesday, Jan. 1,
2013, at her home. She was born on Sept. 4, 1928, in Plover to the late
John and Martha (nee Dreva) Wolosek.
On Oct. 8, 1949, she was united in marriage to Leslie J. “Les” Paul at
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Appleton. In 1969, they settled in West
Bend. Leslie predeceased Dec. 20, 2010.
In addition to caring for her family, she enjoyed traveling and recently
took up jewelry making. She would often give her creations to friends and
family. She was a loving mother who valued her family. Her children,
grandchildren and later great-grandchildren were always the most important
part of her life.
Survivors include six children Leslie Jr. (Karen) of North Aurora, Ill.,
Sandra (Michael) Peterson of Sherwood, Darrell (Teddy) of Columbus, Ohio,
Duane (Mary) of Madison, Lynn (Rory) Zander of Kewaskum and Laurie Paul of
West Bend; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother and
two sisters Lorraine (Chuck) Kaufman of Appleton, Chuck (Evelyn) Wolosek
of Appleton and Eileen Wolosek of Appleton; brothers-inlaw and sisters-inlaw
Alice (Robert) Boisen of Stoughton, Janice (John) Zarling of Cedarburg,
Robert Paul of Fond du Lac, Dorothy Paul of Appleton, Rosie Paul of West
Bend and Lorraine Paul of West Bend; and nieces, nephews, other relatives,
friends and her beloved cat Nikki.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two
brothers, Glen Wolosek and Clarence (Shirley) Wolosek, and three
brothers-in-law, Rudolph Paul, Jr., Alan Paul and Donald Paul.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Jan. 7, at 11:30 a.m.
at Holy Angels Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Brittain presiding.
Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. The family will
greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation at the church
only on Monday from 10-11:15 a.m.
