Gloria Ann Swillinger (nee Aumell), age 88, of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Cedar Community in the town of West Bend.

She was born on Dec. 27, 1924, in Montreal, Canada to the late Daniel and Anne (nee Blischok) Aumell. Gloria was united in marriage to Edward Swillinger in Buck’s County, Pa. on Oct. 27, 1964. Together they lived in Mequon during the 1970s where she was active in the PTA and church. They later lived in southern California before moving to Bend, Ore., where she worked as a realtor and secretary. After retirement they moved to West Bend to be with their children and grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her two sons, Shawn Swillinger of West Bend and Dan (Diana) Swillinger of West Bend; and four grandchildren, Edward, John, Thomas, and Shaylee Swillinger, all of West Bend.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Edward.

Private family services have been held.
