Nelita Schuck, 98
Nelita Schuck (nee Schultz), 98, died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 12,
2013, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth, where she had been
a resident for one year.
She was born on Jan. 28, 1914, in Random Lake, to the late Emma and
William Schultz. She graduated from Random Lake High School in 1931. On
July 17, 1938, she married Daniel Schuck of Slinger.
Nelita worked at the West Bend Mutual Insurance Company and eventually
retired from the Slinger Bank. She was a longtime member of the Cedar
Lake Yacht Club and participated in the Women’s Auxiliary. She was a
member of St. John’s UCC in Slinger.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Robert) Pragalz of Cleveland,
Wis.; two grandsons, Michael Morrissey of Davie, Fla., and Robert Daniel
of Manitowoc; and a brother, Oliver Schultz of Michigan. She is further
survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; brother-in-law, Harry
M. Schuck; and four brothers.
The funeral service will be held at St. John’s UCC (520 W. Washington
St., Slinger, WI 53086) on Friday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. The visitation
will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Slinger.
