Ronald
Bintzler, of West Bend, formerly of Port Washington, passed away in the
early morning hours of Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Clement J. Zablocki
Medical Center in Milwaukee. He was 68.
Ron was born in Grafton on June 7, 1944, son of Nick Bintzler and Thelma
Pattison Bintzler. After high school, Ron served his country as a U.S.
Marine during the Vietnam Conflict. Ron worked as a mail carrier for the
Grafton Post Office. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching TV.
He is survived by his two sons Ben Bintzler of West Bend and Bobby
Bintzler of Green Bay. He is further survived by one granddaughter Aleah
Stoll-Bintzler, four sisters Fran (Don) Zautcke, Letha Schecher, Rita
(Louie) Hamilton and Effie (Merlin) Plier and one brother Donny (Linda)
Bintzler, and other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be
held on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600
W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington, with Deacon Tom Surges officiating. He
will be laid to rest with military honors at Southern Wisconsin Veterans
Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on
Saturday, Jan. 19 from noon-2 p.m.
