Virginia Krogh Gunter, 91, formerly of Rockford, Ill. and West Bend, died Tuesday Jan. 8 2013 at Heartland Rehabilitation Center in Sarasota, Fla.
Born March 4 1921, in Chicago, the daughter of William and Jennie Krogh. Lived 70 years in Rockford, Ill. and moved to West Bend in 1994. Married Alvin G Gunter on Jan. 7, 1945 in Rockford. Owned and operated Gingerís Dance Studio in Rockford and then Gunter Musical Instrument & Repair with her husband. Past Honored Queen and Guardian of Jobís Daughters Rockford Bethel. Past Matron of Order of Eastern Star at Loves Park Chapter 1027. Past member of the Daughter of the Nile Oriental 5 White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Proceeded in death by her parents, husband and grandson. Survived by her son A. Scott Gunter of Sarasota, Fla., granddaughter Heather K. Bendet of Universal City, Texas, and great-grandchildren Tyler, Harrison, Pierce and Sophia Bendet.
