Mary E. Hayter, 51, passed away April 12, 2013, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J.

Mary was born in Madison. She was a 21-year resident of Golden Valley Minn., and a 15-year resident of Falls Church, Va. She worked for LifeCell in Bridgewater, N.J., since 2007 as vice president of health policy, economics and reimbursements. Prior to this, Mary worked for Smith & Nephew as vice president of government affairs/health economics and compliance in Washington, D.C., as a senior legislative associate. Mary had a Master of Public Administration from the University of Idaho, a Fellow from the University of California and a Bachelor of Science in public administration and political science from the University of Wisconsin.

Mary was an avid golfer who loved the outdoors. She loved snowshoeing, kayaking and hiking. She was a collector of M&M candies, loved children’s toys and was a professional shopper.

Her beloved father, Dr. Thomas C. Hayter, preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2012.

Surviving are her beloved mother, Gerda Tonkin Hayter of Sun City Center, Fla.; her cherished sister, Jane E. Hayter Keily and husband Patrick; and her dear nephew, Thomas P. Keily, all of Mequon; other relatives and cherished friends.

A Celebration of Life for Mary and her late father, Dr. Thomas C. Hayter, will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 6031 West Chapel Hill Road, corner of North Green Bay Road and West Highland Road in Mequon. Interment will be in the church’s Memory Garden Columbarium.
