A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at 2
p.m. at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church, N44 W6055 Hamilton
Road, Cedarburg, for Eleanor “Ellie” Bourgeois. The visitation will be
held prior to the Mass, on Thursday at the church from noon until 2 p.m.
Father Tom Eichenberger will conduct the funeral Mass.

Ellie passed away peacefully at the Horizon Hospice in Mequon on June
13, 2013, at the age of 82.
Ellie was born on April 14, 1931, in Peshtigo, the daughter of Harvey
Miller and Doris (nee Ames) Miller. She graduated from Peshtigo High
School and later was united in marriage to James Bourgeois on Aug. 8,
1953, at Lourdes Catholic Church in Marinette. Their marriage was
blessed with two children, James Jr. and Debra Ann.
Ellie and her family lived in Milwaukee, Whitefish Bay, six years in
Smithfield, N.C., and most recently resided in the town of Cedarburg. In
Ellie’s earlier years, she worked in banking, as well as her role as a
mother and a housewife. Ellie ended her career as a licensed realtor for
Ellie is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, James Bourgeois;
children, James (Colleen) Bourgeois Jr. and Debra Ann Bourgeois;
grandchildren, Sarah (Jacob) Grassel and James Bourgeois III; and
siblings, Arlene Chaltry, Virginia Worm and Kenneth (Mary) Miller. She
is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Ellie was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ronald, George
and David Miller.
