Anne E. Kleinmaus, 86

Anne E. Kleinmaus, nee Lampl, 86, of West Bend, formerly of Milwaukee, died on Monday, June 24, 2013, at her home at Cedar Bay West, town of West Bend. She was born on April 27, 1927, in Stark County, N.D., to the late Adam and Mary (Duckhorn) Lampl.

On June 29, 1946, she was united in marriage to John F. Kleinmaus at St. Joseph’s Church in Milwaukee. The couple made Milwaukee their home. John predeceased May 16, 1991.

For more than 20 years, Anne worked at the Gardetto’s Bakery, performing many different production tasks.

Anne loved to crochet. She was extremely proud of her work, giving away many of her creations to family and friends alike. She always made sure that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren received her hand-made blankets when they were born.

In 1998, Anne moved to West Bend to live with her son and daughter-in-law. She made many friends and loved to talk with everyone. She loved to brag about her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. She also had a remarkable memory. She could tell you everyone’s birthday or anniversary and you could always count on receiving a phone call from her on that day.

Survivors include one son, John (Donna) of West Bend; a daughter-in-law Pam; six grandchildren, Paul (JoAnn), Deborah (Don) Noecker, Melissa (Brandon) Stutsman, Rebecca (Clint) Beneke, Adam (Ellen) and Kaleena (Joe) Nowak; 13 great-grandchildren, Rachel, Brittany, Ashley, Benjamin, Joshua, Daniel, Sam, David, Zachary, Anthony, Carrie, Peyton and Lily; one brother and four sisters, Theresa Dickinson, Rose Hagen, Betty Ott, Leonard (Sue) Lampl and Margie (Keith) Ganzer; one brother-in-law, Ray Sigl; one sister-in-law, Sally Lampl; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Anthony, two brothers and two sisters, John Lampl, Mary Ollinger, Tony Lampl and Dorothy Sigl.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1 at 7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with the Rev. Bruce Dunford officiating. Entombment will be Tuesday at St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Milwaukee. The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 5-6:45 p.m.
