Jane L. Weber (nee Pipkorn), age 86, of Big Cedar Lake, West Bend, passed away peacefully at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls on March 1, 2013. Jane was born on April 5, 1926, the daughter of the late Alvin Pipkorn and Olga “Tews” Pipkorn. Jane was born and raised in Mequon around the family concrete business, A.H. Pipkorn and Sons. On June 22, 1957, she married Everett Weber at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mequon. In 1961, they moved to Big Cedar Lake where many memories were shared with family and friends. Jane raised her five children with love, faith, and devotion. Jane had a deep faith in the Lord. She was an active member at Pilgrim Lutheran Church of West Bend. She was involved in choir, ladies guild, quilting, and Sunday school.
Jane enjoyed music as a young woman. She taught accordion lessons at Maus Music Studio in Thiensville, played piano for the church Sunday school, Jane had a passion for her flowers, especially violets, playing her piano, sewing, and spending time with her family. Jane was an inspiration to anyone who met and learned to know her. She represented the true meaning of love, faith, and family. She is survived by her children, Brenda (David) Boerner of Madison, Mary (William) Raciti of West Allis, Randy (Lonny) Weber of West Bend, Rod (Brenda) Weber of Colgate and Brian (Kerry) Weber of Tucson, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Stanley (Carol) Pipkorn of Mequon; and sister, Marie Ann Kassens of Mequon.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Everett and sister, Gladys (John) Barthel.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at noon at Pilgrim Lutheran Church (462 Meadowbrook Drive, West Bend) with the Rev. Joseph Fisher presiding. The visitation will be held at the church from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013, and will continue at the church from 11-11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
