LaVerne I. Dreifuerst (nee Gaulke) passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the age of 93 years. LaVerne was born on April 14, 1919, in Milwaukee to Charles and Cornelia (nee Gifford) Gaulke. LaVerne was a graduate of the Girls Technical High School in Milwaukee.

LaVerne is survived by her nieces: Joanette McNeil, Allegra Hansen, Carolyn Grenyo, Cynthia Porth, Gail Brugioni, Christine Murray, and Judy Cryrus; nephew: Bob Clark; and many other relatives and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and best friend Fran, parents Charles and Cornelia, siblings, Lenore, Cornelia, Catherine, Charles, Thomas; and nephew Michael Ziller.

A funeral service for LaVerne will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive in West Bend with the Rev. Joseph Fischer presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013. Entombment will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
