George L. Scarbrough passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the age of 51.
George was born on Sept. 1, 1961, in Chicago to George M. and Mary (nee Gore) Scarbrough. He was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching races with his best friend, Bob. George loved to cook and he was well-known for his barbeque ribs.
George had a great sense of humor and loved to be around his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
George is survived by his mother Mary; sister Renee (Jeffery) Smale; niece Jacquelyn Smale; nephew Michael Smale; half-brothers James (Elaine) Scarbrough and Ross (Vida) Scarbrough; half-sister Antoinette (Gary) Renz; and relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father George, half-sister Carol Campbell, and numerous relatives.
A memorial service for George will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, in West Bend. Gathering will take place at the funeral home from 12:30-1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
