Bruce J. Anderle,
J. Anderle, longtime resident of Cedarburg, found peace surrounded by
his family on May 14, 2013, at Horizon Hospice, Mequon. He was 76 years
Bruce was born Sept. 4, 1936, in Milwaukee, the son of Miles and Sylvia
Anderle. After graduating from Cedarburg High School, Bruce attended the
University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a degree in finance and
business administration. While at Madison, he met his lifelong love of
54 years, Virginia Hoy. They married on June 27, 1959, and eventually
settled in Cedarburg. After marriage, he proudly served his country in
the Wisconsin National Guard as an officer. For 32 years, Bruce owned
and operated a construction company in Cedarburg. He was dedicated to
his career and passionate about his work. In his free time, he enjoyed
photography, fishing, gardening, woodworking, reading and spending time
with his family. Bruce is survived by his wife, Virginia; and children,
Lynn (James) Wagner, Laura Anderle-Smith, Michele (Joseph) Brown and
Michael (Michelle) Anderle. He was a loving grandpa to Hannah and
Spencer Rettler; Sam, Alex and Simon Brown; Gabriel and Isabelle Smith.
He is further survived by his brother, Douglas (Mary) Anderle; aunt
Ellen Doyle; his best friend, Larry (Charlotte) Hoffman; and other
relatives and friends.
Memorial services, including military honors, will be held at 6:30 p.m.
on Wednesday, May 22, at Faith Lutheran Church, N35 W6621 Wilson Ave.,
Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday
from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The family would like to thank the ICU staff of Columbia St. Mary’s
Hospital, Mequon, and Horizon Hospice for their compassionate care,
along with Pastor John Norquist for his kind support.
