Danny John Fullington I, 76
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Johnís Lutheran Church, 217 N. Freeman Drive, Port Washington, for Danny John Fullington I, of Fredonia. Visitation will take place on Friday at the church, from 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Danny entered into Eternal Life on May 22, 2013, at the age of 76.
Danny was born on Jan. 29, 1937, in West Allis, the son of Raymond Balford Fullington and Marie Margaret (nee Mlakar) Fullington. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1955 and later served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 until 1960.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Danny married his sweetheart, Annette Bryan, on Aug. 21, 1960, in Milton, Fla. Their marriage was blessed with four sons.
Danny worked for the U.S. Postal Service from 1961 to 1992 and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Danny served as postmaster of Grafton for many years, and was responsible for the planning and construction of the current Grafton Post Office building.
Danny was a cofounder of the Grafton Gladiators, which grew into the current All American Youth Football League of Southeastern Wisconsin. Over his lifetime, Danny coached for many track and football teams, as well as being a lifetime member of Lionís Club International. He also volunteered as a full-time sixth to eighth grade teacher at St. Johnís Lutheran Academy, in Port Washington. He also drove a bus for the Johnson Bus Co.
Danny is the beloved husband of 52 years to Annette (nee Bryan) Fullington; devoted father of Danny Fullington II, William Fullington, Timothy Fullington and Michael (Cheryl) Fullington; a proud and cherished grandfather of Nolan, Nina, Hayden, Brianna, Nicholas, Alexandra, Taylor and Christian; and dear brother of Rita (Gerald) Martin and Raymond (Linda) Fullington. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Gloria Boesel, and brother, Richard Fullington.
The family would especially like to thank the Ivan Garcia Family, Dr. Thomas Zukowski and loving staff at the Aurora Cancer Center in Grafton, as well as Dr. Ehab Atallah, Kathy and Chelsae at Froedtert Hospitalís 4NT.
