Fredrick “Fritz” Ende, 83, of Mayville, passed away on Friday, Nov. 1,
2013 at his home.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at 1 p.m. at
St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mayville with the Rev. Barry Hoerz
officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 11
a.m.-1 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mayville. Burial will take
place at Graceland Cemetery, Mayville. Graveside Military Rites will be
conducted by Mayville American Legion Post No. 69.
Fredrick was born on March 16, 1930, in West Bend, to Edwin and Johanna
(Radtke) Ende. Fritz was united in marriage to Dorothy Scheberl on Sept.
1, 1978, in Mayville. He was employed at Gleason Reel Corp. of Mayville.
Fritz was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. Fritz was
a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a
member of the Mayville American Legion Post No. 69. He also did clock
and watch repair, played the violin and organ, and he enjoyed building
remote control airplanes. Fritz enjoyed fishing, but most of all enjoyed
his family and friends.
Fritz is survived by: his stepchildren, Ronald (Patsy) Scheberl of
Oakfield, Marlene (Roger) Youngbeck of West Bend, Bonnie (Bill) Vielbig
of Oakfield, Karen (Richard) Ellis of West Bend, Michael (Karen)
Scheberl of Theresa and Terry (Amy) Ende of Wisconsin Rapids; step
grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; further survived by other
relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, his wife Dorothy in 2005, one
stepdaughter LaVonne Makus and two step-grandchildren, Randy and Kevin.
