Stephen lost his long, courageous battle with cancer on Oct. 31, 2013.
Stephen was born on March 27, 1959, in Milwaukee, the son of Gerald
McCann and Dianne (nee Krizmanitz) McCann. He graduated from Grafton
High School in the spring of 1977, and went on to further his studies at
Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee. Stephen spent countless
hours and effort mastering his degree in commercial art.
After receiving his degree from MATC, Stephen went to work for Serigraph
for three years and then went on to work for HC Miller, where he was the
lead cutter. He was a very talented artist and many of his masterpieces
are still revered today.
Stephen was an avid comic book collector, he enjoyed the Moody Blues as
well as Pink Floyd and he enjoyed tinkering with cars. He could be found
year after year at the Ozaukee County Fair grounds competing in the
demos. He had a great zest for life and had a great love for his family.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Gerald and Dianne McCann; siblings,
Mark (LaVonne) McCann and Michelle (Bill) Wagner; brother-in-law, Dan
(Sherrie) Pals; nephew, Tyler McCann; and nieces, Sara McCann and Erin
Wagner. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other
relatives and friends.
Stephen was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Pals. Mueller Funeral
Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
