Carole Ann worked for about 25 years at We Energies. She was the first licensed gas control specialist in the state.

She was a devoted grandmother to Joshua, Kristianna and Alexandria, Kyle (Katlyn), Jarod and Kalia, Stephanie (Kyle), Charles and Jessica, Shannon, Noah and Kobe. She was very excited to be a great-grandma to Millie Jo and Sophia Rose. She is also survived by her devoted companion Rick, her two brothers Carl (Sharon) of Salem, Ill., and Curtis (Janice) of Butler, and many special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at noon at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church in Hartford. Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday from 10-11:45 a.m. Burial will be Monday in St. Mary’s Cemetery (new) in the town of Barton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society in Carole Ann’s name are appreciated.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Harbecke, nurse Lorie, the loving and caring staff at Cedar Community, and John Haske of AREXCO for helping to make Carole Ann’s life a little more comfortable.
