“Sally” Roehrborn, 91, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Thursday,
Oct. 24, 2013, at Zibler Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.
She was born Dec. 22, 1921, in Shepley to Fred and Meta Timm. She
attended Rosefeldt Elementary School in Tomahawk before going to work
for Dr. Rowe Baker of Tomahawk at the age of 13. Sally married Herman
Roehrborn on Sept. 28, 1940, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomahawk.
Sally will be deeply missed by her children, Carole (Robert) Swoboda of
Riverside, Calif., Kay (Pete) Dirkx of Oshkosh and Dick (Maria)
Roehrborn of Grafton; sisters, Hazel Currier of Phoenix and Bonnie
Daigle of Tomahawk; brother, Fritz (Bernice) Timm of Tomahawk; and
sister-in-law, Ginny Timm of Green Bay. Sally is further survived by
nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Meta Timm; her
husband, Herman Roehrborn; her two daughters, Mary Jane and Marjorie;
sisters, Betty Wurl and Rose Johnston; brothers, Ray Timm, Rod Timm,
Dale Timm and Glen Timm; sisters-in-law, Irene Timm, Mary Jane Timm,
Virginia Timm, Deva Golden and Ivy Adams; and brothers-in-law, Leroy
Currier, Gus Wurl, Raleigh Johnston, Edwin Daigle, Frank Golden and John
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at St.
Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., Grafton, at 11 a.m. A
gathering of family and friends will be held starting at 9 a.m. at St.
Joseph’s Catholic Church. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
