Florence M. Maslowski (nee Wroblewski), 94, passed away on Sunday, Sept.
1, 2013, in Stevens Point.
She was born in Stockton, Wis., and raised in the Stevens Point area.
She married Henry J. Maslowski on Oct. 25, 1947, in Milwaukee. During
World War II, she worked at Heil Company to support the war effort. She
retired as an inspector at Junior House Clothing.
Florence was a devoted Catholic and served as a member of St. Peterís
Christian Women, Prayer Chain, and Bible Study. She enjoyed making
clothing for her family, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking,
gardening and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family and
She is survived by her children, Dwayne (Karen), Karen (Vincent) Truant;
grandchildren, Jason (Jasmine) Eaton, April Maslowski, and Angela
(Timothy) Carne; great-grandson, Nicholas Carne; brother, Harry
(Phyllis) Wroblewski; sisters-in-law, Violet and Jane; and nieces
nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha (nee Ksionsk);
husband, Henry J.; three sisters and four brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at 7
p.m. at St. Peterís Catholic Church (200 E. Washington St, Slinger, WI
53086) with the Rev. Richard Stoffel presiding. The visitation will be
at church from 4-6:45 p.m. Interment will take place on Saturday at 10
a.m. at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children of St.
Jude Foundation (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942).
