Janice M. Schoenhaar, 44


Janice M. Schoenhaar (nee Herrmann), 44, of West Bend died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at her residence. She was born Dec. 14, 1968, in Milwaukee to David and Virginia (nee Herrmann) Herrmann and married Jay E. Schoenhaar on May 19, 2000, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend.

Janice was an active member in Journey at St. Frances Cabrini Church. She was a proud and frequent volunteer at the Albrecht Free Clinic, the Washington County Humane Society and she spent a lot of time with her husband giving their time and talents at the Red Cross.

She is survived by her husband Jay, her parents, David and Virginia Herrmann of Germantown, her parents-in-law Robert and Patricia Schoenhaar of West Bend, four siblings: Jill (Patrick) Morgan of Hartland, Jeffrey (Kelly) Herrmann of the town of Polk, Joseph (Theresa) Herrmann of Jackson and Jacquelyn (Robert) Wirth of Sussex and five nieces and two nephews. She is further survived by Jay’s siblings: Mary (Chris) O’Hanison of West Allis, Kelsy (Lisa) Schoenhaar of Madison and Tom Schoenhaar of Milwaukee; their service dogs Maggie and Mozart; and other relatives and friends.

Janice is preceded in death by her brother-in-law David Schoenhaar.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at 7 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend with the Rev. Enrique Hernandez presiding. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church only from 5-6:45 p.m. Memorials to be used for the wishes of the family are appreciated.
