Ruth M. Bublitz, 92|
M. Bublitz passed away on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at the age of 92
years. Ruth was born on Sept. 6, 1921, in the town of Polk to William
“Bill” and Edna (nee Schwantz). Ruth worked at both SK Williams as well
as Amity Corp. in West Bend. She then went on to proudly work at Allen
Bradley as a drill press operator having retired with more than 30 years
Ruth enjoyed her time at St. Paul’s in Slinger where she was able to
engage in church functions including the ladies aide and play dart ball.
She always drove Chevrolets, and, in fact, drove her own car until the
age of 85 when a lamp post ended her driving career. She also loved
collecting Hummel figurines.
Ruth is survived by her children Gerald (Barbara Rohan) and David (Cheryll)
and grandchildren Jeremy and Cassandra (fiancé James Basterash). She is
further survived by her sister Marion (Walter) Muller, sister-in-law
Fern, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Ruth is
preceded in death by her parents Bill and Edna; brothers Edwin, Fred,
and Alfred; and sisters-in-law Doris and Mary.
A funeral service for Ruth will be at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26,
2013, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 799 St. Paul Drive in
Slinger, with the Rev. David Hein presiding. Visitation will be at the
church from 3-4:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013. Friends and family
will meet at Union Cemetery in Slinger on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at 10
a.m. to bring Ruth to her final place of rest.
