Michael W. Hahn, 59

Michael W. “Mike” Hahn, age 59, of Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014.

He was born on July 5, 1955, in Menomonee Falls to Richard and Carol (nee Schmidt) Hahn. He was united in marriage to Gloria Bogacki on April 27, 1985, at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church in Park Ridge, Illinois.

He loved hunting, fishing, trapping, auctions and especially loved his work and spending time with his family. Mike worked for Field Hack Construction, Pieper Power Electric and owned and operated Hahn’s Water Well Pump Service Inc.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Gloria Hahn; his loving children, Benjamin Hahn and Michelle (Vance) Rath and expected grandson; loving parents, Richard (Carol) Hahn; and his dear siblings, Bill (Kathy) Hahn, Debbie (John) Binder, Annette (Doug) Fischer and Doug (Linda (Rose) Hahn. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Herman (Ruth) Schmidt and Frank (Clara) Hahn; his brother, Russ Hahn; brother-in-law, David Herrick and nephew, Jason Herrick.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mike will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the St. Therese Chapel, at Holy Hill (lower chapel) 1525 Carmel Road, Hubertus.

Family will greet relatives and friends at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St., Hartford) on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, from 5-9 p.m., with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. Additional visitation will precede Mass on Tuesday from 9:30-10 a.m. at the St. Therese Chapel at Holy Hill.

Interment in West Bend Memorial Park in West Bend on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at 1 p.m.
