James W. Blank, 54, of Jackson unexpectedly died on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at his residence. He was born Nov. 14, 1960, in Port Washington to Gus and Marlene (nee Egerer) Blank.
Jim graduated from Germantown High School with the class of 1979. On Sept. 14, 1991, he married the girl next door, Gina Pavelski, at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Jackson.
He worked for Blanks Truck Repair for 10 years before being named the fleet supervisor for the village of Grafton Department of Public Works.
The passion in Jimís life was developing and expanding the United States Fistball Association, which he was the president of. He was an avid fistball player and coach for over 30 years. He also enjoyed bowling for the past 35 years and coaching soccer for his children. Jim will be greatly missed by his fistball family worldwide.
Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family at their lake cottage in Summit Lake.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Gina; two children, Emily and Holden; and his parents, Gus and Marlene Blank of Jackson. He is further survived by his siblings, Jeff (Bonnie) of Gleason, Jack of Mayville, Judy (Steve) Henrichs of Jackson and John of Jackson; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Jessica Pelt of Pewaukee, Rick Pavelski of Adell, Steve Pavelski of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Sheri (Delbert) Prokop of New Berlin and Connie (Carl) Kohn of West Bend; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. Johnís Lutheran Church, 2881 Division Road in Jackson, with funeral to follow at 4 p.m., the Rev. Paul Mittermaier will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for the education of his children are appreciated.
