Sandra Reedus, 70

Mrs. Sandy Reedus, of Country Lane in Mequon, passed away unexpectedly late Friday evening, Dec. 26, 2014. She was 70 years old.
Sandra was born in Cleveland on April 6, 1944, daughter of William and Margaret Kantor Diggins. While growing up in Cleveland, she met the love of her life, William Reedus.
The couple moved to Milwaukee in 1961 and were united in marriage on April 22, 1963, in Waukegan, Ill. Mrs. Reedus worked as a nursing assistant at various Milwaukee hospitals, including Mount Sinai and St. Michael Hospital. In 1987, Sandy and William moved to Mequon. Sandy continued her work as a nursing assistant at St.
Mary’s Hospital and Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital until she retired in 2002.
Sandy loved taking care of her family and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked spending time on the computer, communicating with her family via Facebook and checking out great deals while shopping online.
Mrs. Reedus is survived by her husband, William, and their two daughters, Mary (Noel) Cintron of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Cynthia (Rudy) Johnson of Random Lake. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Steven, Rudy Jr., Noel III, Racheal, Gabriel and Hannah; five
great-grandchildren, Quinten, Steve, Kailynn, KJ and Kiley. Further survivors include her sister, Gloria (Gene) Viccarone; brother, Charles (Mary) Diggins and sister-in-law, Beverly Diggins, all of Cleveland, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by granddaughter Margaret Cintron, sisters Delores Romero and Amelia Mae Ramos, and brothers William, Paul and James Diggins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
