Phil A. Seidensticker, of Cedarburg, 73, passed away peacefully on April
1, 2014, at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital, in Wauwatosa.
Philip was born on March 4, 1941, in West Bend, the son of the late Carl
Seidensticker and the late Laura (nee Mass) Seidensticker. He received
his bachelorís degree after attending Concordia College, in Milwaukee,
and also Concordia, in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Philip was united in marriage to Pat Dowden on Nov. 28, 1980, at Trinity
Ev. Lutheran Church, in West Bend.
Philip worked as a production manager, at The Threshold Inc., in West
Bend for more than 34 years. When he wasnít putting in countless hours
at his job, he could be found on the family farm, in the town of
Jackson, harvesting the crops as well as tending to the machinery.
Philip truly enjoyed nature, especially watching the birds come and go
on the family farm, and had a true love for bluebirds.
Philip was a longtime active member at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church,
serving on many boards, he was a member of the Jackson Historical
Society and he had a great love for the civil war, as well as his
beloved Green Bay Packers.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Philip is survived by his wife, Pat Seidensticker, children, Dan
Seidensticker, Duane Seidensticker, Ron Loyas, Paula Loyas and Jon (Jenni)
Loyas; and his four grandchildren, Hilary, Tanner, Alyssa and Jacob. He
is further survived by two sisters, one brother, nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014, 4 p.m. at
Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (1268 Pleasant Valley Road), West Bend. He
will be in state on Saturday, at the church, from 1-3:45 p.m. Philip
will be laid to rest at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, in West Bend.
