Dolores ‘Lorrie’ DeLeeuw, 84

Dolores “Lorrie” DeLeeuw (nee Schmeling) of Grafton, born Sept. 1, 1929, died peacefully on Feb. 1, 2014.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernie; parents, Walter and Linda Schmeling; and brother, Carl Schmeling.  Survived by son, Harry (Lori) DeLeeuw; daughters, Debbie (Steve) Engle, Bonnie DeLeeuw, and Peggy (Tom) Mayer; plus eight special grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Further survived by her loving brother, Roy (Betty) Schmeling, and her life-long best friend, Helen Nelson.

Lorrie cherished her many Pilgrim Church and choir friends, her Red Hats gals, her Bingo Buddies and her friends at Grafton’s American Legion Rose-Harms Unit 355.
Visitation 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb.  6, 2014, at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 1621 2nd Ave., Grafton.  Memorial Service to follow at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pilgrim U.C.C. Music Fund.
