Lucile B. Binder,
Lucile B. Binder (nee Bonerz), 81, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6,
2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk. She was born on Feb.
14, 1932, to the late Christopher and Lucile (nee Miller) Bonerz.
She graduated from Messmer High School class of 1949 and then earned a
degree from Mount Mary College in the dietary field. She married Roy
Binder on June 9, 1951, at Holy Redeemer. Lucile was the manager at Top
of the Marine Restaurant in Milwaukee. She enjoyed golfing, playing
cards, fishing and spending time with family.
She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and past
president of the Wisconsin Dietetic Association.
Lucile is survived by her husband, Roy; children, Mary (Roger) Herrick,
Richard and John (Deb); grandchildren, Amy, David, Katie, Marla, Karen,
Kenneth, Kellie, Ryan, and Brittany; 11 great-grandchildren; sister,
Mary Steppe; and sister-in-law, Faye Binder. She is further survived by
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death
by her brothers, C. Robert and James; great-grandson, Jason;
sister-in-law, Colleen Binder; brothers- in-law, Norman and Don Binder
and Joe Steppe.
The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11,
2014, at noon at St. Frances Cabrini (1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend,
WI 53095) with the Rev. Nathan Reesman presiding. The visitation will be
held at the church on Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 10-11:45 a.m. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations appreciated to the National Kidney
