Daryl D. Pittman, 55


Daryl D. Pittman, 55, town of Knox, died on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Tomahawk. He was born on July 27, 1958, in Milwaukee, the son of Howard and Josephine (Keller) Pittman. He spent his early life and schooling in the Milwaukee area. He was married to Debra “Debbie” Lemcke on Nov. 6, 1976, in West Bend. Following his education, he was employed at various occupations including a farmhand, as a cattle hauler, and then as a union mason for Hansen Masonry for more than 27 years until ill health forced him to retire. In his free time he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and attending country festivals.

He is survived by his wife Debra “Debbie,” town of Knox, by one daughter, Linda Pittman, Prentice, by two sons, Daniel, Weston, and Gregory, Brantwood, by five grandchildren, by one brother, William “Bill” Pittman, Randolph, and by two sisters, Sue Gustom, Belton, Texas, and Leila Pittman, Oshkosh.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, with the Rev. Gary Uttech officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home until the time of the service.
