Sandra Jean Tisai, 60

Sandra Jean Tisai (nee Stater), 60, of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at her home after struggling with chronic illness.

She was born on July 10, 1953, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee to the late Harry and Lorraine (nee Kirchoff) Stater. She was the youngest of three children, Robert and his wife Kay, and William and his wife Sue.

Sandy met the love of her life, David Tisai, in Oshkosh in 1972. They married on Aug. 25, 1973. She had her precious son John in 1976 and then her beautiful daughter Heather in 1979.

Sandy and David found truth from the Bible and were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses in the early 1980s. Her love for Jehovah God motivated her to share her hope with others and volunteer part time as a Bible teacher. She loved and thanked Jehovah for each precious day of life. Sandy spoke often of her Bible based hope to travel the world together with her family in the future Paradise.

She welcomed her grandchildren Daniel in 2004, Jonah in 2005 and Lily in 2008.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lorraine Stater; her parents-in-law, Gloria and Emil Tisai; and her precious niece Violet Tisai.

Her sunny disposition, bright personality and precious caring attitude for everyone around her will be missed, but in Jehovah’s memory every part of her is safe and awaiting her resurrection very soon.

A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 6823 Wildwood Drive, West Bend. Visitation will follow the service.
