Lorraine F. Gaedtke,
services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at First Immanuel
Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg, at noon for
Lorraine F. Gaedtke, whose Golden Gate was opened for her calling to her
heavenly home on Jan. 25, 2014, at the age of 97.
Visitation will be held at church on Thursday from 10:30-11:45 a.m.

Lorraine was born on July 19, 1916, to Frederick and Agnes Voeltner. In
1937 she married the love of her life, Lester F. Gaedtke, who preceded
her in death. She loved to travel to Door County to see the fall colors.
She worked at Alstonís for 23 years. Lorraine loved to volunteer at
Lasata Care Center, Ozaukee Humane Society and volunteer and work at the
Wollner American Legion Post 288. The family wants to thank all the
caregivers at Lasata. She leaves behind her dear daughters Judith
(Richard) Breit of West Bend and Janice M. Judson of Door County/
Sturgeon Bay; her loving grandchildren Tamra Dagnon of Madison, Todd
Beyer of Port Washington, Timm (Peggy) Beyer of Manitowoc and MaryJo
(Kevin) Bartelt of Waukesha; 10 beautiful great-grandchildren Suzannah,
Noah, Andrew, Rebecca, Tanya, Michael, Paul, McKinsey, Danielle and
Jesse; a special niece and nephew from Door County/Sturgeon Bay Kim
(Scott) Bubnik; special friend Betty Robison; and many more nieces,
nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Lester, brothers Gordon
Kemp and Frederick Voeltner, and sisters Ethel Bublitz and Margarite
