Jeanette E. Traber, 77

Jeanette E. Traber, of Cedarburg, passed away at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon on Jan. 27, 2014, at the age of 77.

Jeanette was born on Nov. 7, 1936, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Lester Tietyen and Edith (nee Byerly) Tietyen. She was later united in marriage to Robert Traber on July 7, 1956, in Milwaukee.  Their marriage was blessed with four sons, Dale, Darryl, David and Dean.

Jeanette was employed by Sprague Manufacturing, working as a ceramic loader for over 34 years until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed going to the casinos with her close friends as well as playing bingo. Jeanette will be best known by her family and friends as being the No. 1 fan of the Tom Jones Fan Club.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory in Cedarburg, followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m.  The Rev. Dr. David Blackmer will be officiating the funeral service. Jeanette will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Robert, at Immanuel Cemetery, in Cedarburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Community United Methodist Church in Cedarburg are appreciated.

Jeanette is survived by her loving sons, Dale Traber, Darryl (JoAnn) Traber, David (Barbara) Traber, and Dean (Kerri) Traber; grandchildren, Jason, Brian, Elizabeth, and Emily Traber; siblings, Gerald (Carla) Tietyen and Allen (Lois) Tietyen; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Traber and Dolores Traber. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.|
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Robert Traber.
