Anthony J. Shields,
Anthony J. “Tony” Shields, 42, of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014. He was born on June 29, 1971, in Evansville, Ind., to Richard and Nancy Jo (nee Miller) Shields.
Tony was employed at Seneca Foods in Oakfield for several years.
His red Harley-Davidson was his pride and joy. He loved to spend his free time gaming on the computer especially playing Guild Wars 2 as the character Rue.
He is survived by his son, Paul-Allen Decker of New Lisbon; his mother, Nancy Jo Angell Zepecki of Germantown; his father, Richard Shields of Oshkosh; his life-partner, Barb Chesak of West Bend; three sisters, Annette (Lee) Moericke of Lomira, Amy (Rusty) Bender of Kenosha and Amber Shields of Fond du Lac; two nieces, Ashland and Lysi; three nephews, Ben, Elias and Abe; two aunts, Cynthia Lombard of Germantown and Gerry (Chuck) McLarnon of Greensboro, Ga.; an uncle, Ralph (Nancy) Shield of Lake Alfred, Fla.; his special friends, Bill Hansen of Oshkosh, Joe Prado and Doris Prado of Clearwater, Fla; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 3-6 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. Eighth Ave., West Bend.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Repenshek officiating.
