Casimir K. Diges, 77


Casimir K. Diges “Kenny,” 77, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at his residence.

He was born and raised in Crivitz, and graduated from Crivitz High School class of 1955.

He married Arlove Hillman on Oct. 2, 1976, and was employed for 21 years at Storck Hardware and went on to work at Fillingers Ace Hardware for the last several years.

Kenny enjoyed taking Make-A-Wish Foundation children out on his boat to enjoy nature. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, helping others and spending time with his family.

He is the beloved husband of Arlove; dear father of Fred Diges, Joel (Monica Sanz) Diges, Adam Manders and Renie (Joshua) Meier; cherished grandfather of Ana and Martin Diges and Marissa, Zachary, and Samantha Meier; brother of Martha Marsh and Lloyd (Joan) Diges; and brother-in-law of Lucille Diges. He is further survived by many, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Casimir and Casimira (nee Masaitis) Diges; brothers Melvin and Larry (June); sister Nellie (Al) Tadisch; and brother-inlaw Paul Marsh.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Crown Of Life Lutheran Church (1292 Tally Ho Trail, Hubertus, WI 53033) with the Rev. Michael Helwig presiding. The visitation will be held at church on Saturday, Feb. 7, from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. Interment will take place on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
