Rita White nee BreclawRita White (nee Breclaw), 64, of the town of Cedarburg met her heavenly father on Feb. 14, 2015. Rita was born on May 20, 1950, in Escanaba, Mich., and graduated from Holy Name High School in 1968. She graduated from Bryant and Stratton College in 1970. She married John White on April 19, 1975, in Milwaukee.

Rita worked for over 40 years as a legal assistant with occasional breaks to raise her sons. She retired in May 2014 from the Von Briesen Law firm after completing 15 years of service. Rita truly loved the legal profession and her co-workers. Rita was happiest when she was cooking and was looking forward to cooking more with her granddaughters as they got older. Additionally, Rita was an avid reader and enjoyed spending her free time with a good book. She was a faithful member of the St. Francis Borgia Church and former member of the church choir.

She leaves behind husband, John; sons, Ben (Katie) and Nathan and granddaughters, Lauren and Meg. She is further survived by brother, Bob (Betty) Breclaw; sister-in-law, Karen (Dave) Kaja; brother-in-law, Mike (Heidi), brother-in-law, Rich Gorenchan; parents-in-law, John and Colleen White, nieces and nephews, cousins and many great friends. She was preceded in passing by her son, Nick; sister, Roberta Gorenchan and parents, Peter and Veronica (nee Bal) Breclaw. Rita was a kind, considerate and giving person who was deeply committed to her family and friends. She carried a bright cheerful smile and was always ready to share a laugh. She was an incredible woman and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at St. Francis Borgia Church North (1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg) from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a Mass at noon. Father Tom Eichenberger will preside.

A memorial fund will be set up in Rita's name or donations made to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com.
