Edward F. Salefske Jr., 66

Edward “Ed” F. Salefske Jr., 66, passed away on Feb. 25, 2015. He was born on Sept. 14, 1948, in Hamburg, Wisconsin, to the late Edward Salefske and Joyce (nee Heidmann) Salefske-Prose.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served proudly and honorably during Vietnam from 1969-71 as a Green Beret Special Forces. Ed was the owner and operator of E & S Trucking in West Bend.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Dubey (special friend Charlie Koch); grandchildren: Dillon, Bradley and Isaac; fiancée Sharon Gahan; siblings: Kathleen (Leonard) Berg, Randolph (LeeAnn) and Ronald. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Calvin and sister Beverly.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend. The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
