Marilyn Speranza, 71|
Marilyn Speranza (nee Biever) of Grafton passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at the age of 71 years.
Marilyn was born in Milwaukee on March 3, 1943 to Albert and Lorraine (nee Schutta) Biever and married Phillip Speranza on Nov. 29, 1985, in Port Washington.
Marilyn was employed by Trionic in Fredonia. She was a longtime active member and financial secretary of St. John Lutheran Church in Grafton.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip of Grafton; brother, Dr. Kenneth (Christine) Burhop of San Diego; sister, Jeanine Burhop of Grafton; and stepson Jim (Milesa) Speranza of Kansas City, Kan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 1193 Lakefield Road, Grafton. Interment will be at Lakefield Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Memorials of your choice appreciated.
